Adidas designs with contemporary features

Adidas is adidas stan smith adding to its sneaker lineup with a brand-new silhouette made especially for women. Called the Everyn, the sneaker blends classic Adidas designs with contemporary features.

The style is detailed with a premium-leather upper that pays tribute to classic models, such as the Stan Smith, through its perforated Three Stripes marks and heel patch.

Before Kanye West was the most important rapper in the world and known for his Adidas sneakers, he bought his shoes at Sportie LA, a mom-and-pop store with two locations in Los Angeles that’s been in business for more than 30 years. What makes Sportie LA unique isn’t that it’s adidas gazelle one of the last independently owned sneaker stores that’s a throwback to the days of sporting goods shops, but that it is a digger’s dream, a hodgepodge of old and new sneakers, many of which can’t be bought anywhere else. That’s what brings in footwear fanatics and celebrities alike. In the age of cool-guy sneaker boutiques that are peddling their cachet, no shop is more authentic that Sportie LA.

The Adidas adidas tubular schuhe silhouette, created by Horst Dassler, the son of company founder Adi, debuted in 1965 as the first leather tennis shoe and had French pro Robert Haillet’s name on it. But when the German company aimed for a stronger U.S. presence, it turned to Smith.

The athletic label signed him to his first five-year deal, planted his face on the shoe’s tongue and left Haillet’s autograph on the side. By 1978, Smith had it all to himself. (His current endorsement deal ends in 2018. He and longtime agent Donald Dell are in negotiations with Adidas to renew.)
