Hi there. I downloaded the latest version of PP, f40, and tried to install it, but AIR reported an error in application configuration. The older version worked ok.

I use Windows 7 Professional 32-bit.

If your original installation of the game was a release you downloaded before October 1, 2010, you will have to uninstall it before installing the f40 release. On your PC, go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, scroll down to People Power (and People Power Scenario Builder) and click Remove. Be sure to remove both of them. Then, be sure your version of Adobe AIR is 2.0 or later, and you will be able to install the f40 release. Future releases will not require you to uninstall the old one—when you start to install future releases, you’ll be asked whether you want to replace the existing one, and you just click ‘replace’.

[I’m using a MacPro laptop (Mac OS X v. 10.5.8), 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 DUo. It won’t run (I already installed AIR)
The files in the PeoplePwerf45.air include 3 folders: Scenarios, META-INF, and Assets. In addition to the folders are the PeoplePower.swf file and mimetype.

Did I install the correct version for Mac OS? Am I missing the correct program file for my system?

Thanks,

Leamon

Leamon,

There’s no obvious reason why the game isn’t running on the computer you describe. Can you give me a bit more information? You downloaded and installed Air? Do you see any error messages when installing the game itself? After installation, are you simply clicking the game desktop icon (alias) to launch? What happens when you do this? As much detail as possible, please.
